I'm only able to give 5 stars but I would definitely give 10 times as many for what Robert has done for my dogs!
I contact Robert several years ago to help with my 2 Pitties who had some behavioral issues and after a few sessions both dogs had overcome my areas of concern.
Recently I rehomed a 6 year old Pittie that had very little training if any and I again reached out to Robert for help so that we could work on a few of her manners and make her a happier pup.
The first session started our a little rough but within a few short minutes he walked us through what we needed to do and it was again an amazing experience. Robert is very knowledgeable and calm with his training techniques and methods.
His techniques and methods are easy enough for the entire family to practice so the training will always be successful.

Purple Paws was fantastic! I trusted them to watch my dog while I was on vacation and I was highly pleased with the regular status updates and pictures. Kylo can be a challenging dog to watch as he has some behavioral quirks, but I didn't worry one bit about him while gone. I don't let just anyone watch my dog, and I can assure you we will be back!

I hired Robert to help with my dog Sophie, a St. Bernard rescue. We loved her, but she had been accused of biting the owner of another dog who complained to the police. She had dragged my wife and daughter across the street to meet other dogs and chase squirrels. Even when I walked her, she would pull ahead. We had been trying to work with her without much success and didn't feel that a dog training class would work because of they way she behaved around other dogs. Neighbors were suggesting that she be muzzled or be fitted with a choke collar, however these seemed to be over-reactions. Having raised other St. Bernard's, I knew their adolescence could be difficult because of their willfulness, size and strength.
Robert came to our home and worked with us, showed us simple exercises to get Sophie to recognize us as dominant, in control, effectively correct her rude behavior and build her confidence. We were able to build on what he taught us to continued to work with her.
Sophie now walks loose lease and responds to voice commands. She is a very good dog. People now comment on what a good she is (something she loves to hear.) She is much more confident and will allow other dogs into her space. I have always wanted a dog that is a true companion, that I can trust to walk beside me, with or without a leash and now I have one, thanks to Robert!

When we hired Robert to train our 11 year old Yorkie, I thought we were taking a big chance on wasting our money. We were wrong! Before training, our dog Frankie barked viciously much like a maniac every time someone rang the door bell at our home. After training with Robert, all that changed. Frankie is now a very well trained dog just like the Dog Whisper on TV
Deb | Max and Mickey
We have been working with Rob with our 10 yr old chihuahua, Max. Working on his fear, anxiety and very protective, just in 3 sessions he is more confident and so are we! We still have a lot of work but not only is he learning new behaviors but also now has a new little brother to play with. Meet Mickey…. Max is 9.5 lbs and Mickey is 4.5 lbs…. Update:
Robert, Mickey and Max have now started to play together in the house when it’s raining and they can’t play outside. Zooming around the kitchen island (spinning out on the hardwood floor) and playing on the rug in the living room. It warms my heart to see them playing together.

Robby is a magician. My dog Ziggy has been a difficult case and has battled reactivity for quite some time. In a month, Robby was able to work with him on it and get to a point where he was able to not only board Ziggy, but become Ziggy’s friend. The progress is unreal and Robby’s knowledge is incredible.
